Pom Pom Easter Egg Painting

Supplies Required:

  • Paper Egg Shape Template
  • Five Clothes Pins
  • Green, Purple, Pink, Blue, Yellow Pom Poms
  • Washable Paints Green, Purple, Pink, Blue, Yellow,
  • Colored Construction Paper
  • Elmer’s Glue Stick
  • Scissors
  • Pencil

How to make a Pom Pom Easter Egg

  1. Start by drawing an egg shape with a pencil on a piece of paper to make the template,
  2. Grab each pom pom with a clothespin and dip them in paints,
  3. Have the kids press them on the paper making patterns with the colors,
  4. Let paint dry for 5 minutes then cut out the egg and glue it on a bright piece of construction paper,
  5. I think it made an awesome print on the Easter egg…kind of like a splatter effect!
