Manly Gift Ideas For Christmas

Nov 19, 2015

Stockings and presents are easy to get done for kids. I mean, all they really want are toys... And candy. But what guy doesn't also want toys and gadgets? So instead of giving up and going back to the stale gift of socks and underwear, we're sharing with you our list of Stocking Stuffer and Gift Ideas that any man would be happy to find in their lumberjack sized stocking.

BEGINNER TIP: Start small. Movie tickets, gift cards, or just plain candy are a few standard basics that are winners.
PRO TIP: Go for what he likes. Whether he's a tech or sports lover, you can always find a fail-safe in a gift that reflects his interests.

MAN CRATES Just what they sound like. A crate crate full of manly gifts. Personalize it based on what your man likes, options include: Retro Gamer, Personalized Pint or Whiskey set, Muscle Hustle Fitness, The Bacon Crate, Zombie Survival, and many types of Grill Master Crates. Or check out their TOP RATED BOXES that are their most popular choices, to help make it easier to decide. The options really are endless. prices vary from $50-$150 per crate, and include crowbar. **NOTE: This must be shipped to a US address

WALLET Men can be hard on their wallets. And this one is actually on my own wish list this year (hint, hint, Mrs.). Leather ones hold up the best, and slim fitting is always a great feature. Top Pick? The Anderson Front Pocket Bifold wallet, slim fitting, genuine leather, with enough slots for both cards and cash.

LEATHERMAN My wife didn't know what this was. A Leatherman is a man's go-to tool for projects around the house, on the job, or at the campsite. It's lightweight, pocket-sized, stainless steel tool design will satisfy their inner Mr. Fix-It. There are a wide assortment of options you can choose, but a great starting one is the Wingman, with 14 tools.

SHAVE CLUB SUBSCRIPTION Get a great shave from as low and high as $3-$10 a month. Each month you'll find several new blades in the mail, and the initial razors come with their handle. Maximum precision, maximum manliness.

GEEK GEAR For the nerd or geek in your life, try a gift card. From bacon scented soap to Star Wars waffle irons, there really is something for everyone.

BEARD CARE For the beard lover or avid beard grower, head over to Badass Beard Care to find that perfect stocking stuffer that shows you care. Choose from a monthly subscription to the Badass Beard Club, or from their mass selection of balms, oils, and brushes. I can say from experience, that these are truly Bad Ass.

HUNTING BUFF Try grabbing them a new bird or duck call, or ammo for their choice of hunting weapon.

EAR BUDS For the music buff, or guy that likes to listen to tracks during a workout, get him some great sounding ear buds or headphones. Wireless ones are on-trend right now.

MANLY SOAP from Dr.Squatch is a must-have. Of course, any manly smelling soap is good. Treat him right with all natural ingredients and scents from essential oils. Dr.Squatch also offers a monthly soap subscription. Other shops or soap makers to try are LUSH, Eliza Jane Soap Company, Long Winter Soap Co, and Man Hands.

COFFEE LOVER Give a bag of Good Coffee, and make a difference with every sip! Get freshly roasted specialty coffee sent right to your door every month. Free shipping anywhere in Canada on all subscriptions. Orders are freshly roasted and shipped out on the Tuesday of the week following your order. Monthly subscriptions or individual bag sales are both great options.

CRAFT BEER For the ale connoisseur, grab them a 6 or 12 pack of their favorite craft beer. Not sure which one is their favorite, or wanting to introduce them to a new love? Try the 2015 winners of the Canadian Brewing Awards!

BEEF JERKY I am not even kidding about this one. Speak to his stomach and his heart with some delicious jerky... Bonus points if it's not found at the corner store!

I'd really love to get a man crate for Christmas or my Birthday. I already have a Leatherman, Beardcare, Manly Soap, and I don't trust anyone to buy me my craft beer (that's a gift I get myself, unless another craft beer aficionado buys it for me!)

Have you asked Santa Martin? ;-) He might be able to come through for you and your man crate!
