Tweens Are Flipping Over Triple Flip Fashion

Aug 12, 2015

My 12 year old could talk for hours about why she loves Triple Flip so much, but thankfully she wrote the reasons down for me. "Warm, comfy, cute, and in style are only some of the amazing (insert Tween drama here) things about Triple Flip! The Minky Bubble Hoodie is my fav because it warms you right up, and it's like you are wearing a teddy bear. It is so soft and cozy, but perfect to exercise, play, and hangout in... And, I LOVE the bright colours!"

As a mom, I love the quality of Triple Flip. These clothes are made to last, making them a great investment. I also like their program Designed to Grow, Designed to Last* that launches every year before Back-To-School, so girls can help other girls have that "First Day of School Outfit Feeling" by bringing in their well-loved, outgrown, clean flipwear into triple Flip stores across Canada during July and August. As a mom of a tween I also love that the store encourages girls to be active, to be strong, and to have fun. Our sporty girl can also shop at Triple Flip for "girly" soccer styles and accessories, since pink and glitter are usually hard to find in the sport sections at other stores. Started in Calgary in 2005, Triple Flip is a Canadian success story and we will continue to shop and support a local Alberta Company.

The Minky line is 100 percent polyester, making it easy to care for with a cool wash, and low dryer tumble. It's soft and cozy cush doesn't pill or lose it's luxurious feel from wash to wash. Thumbhole cuffs are a popular favourite with tweenage fashionistas, as well as the contrast zipper and binding. All in all, Minky's are the perfect staple for any wardrobe.

With the first day of school approaching fast, teens and tweens everywhere are paying close attention to what is in fashion, and planning their first day of school outfits. The Minky Chase Hoodie is a new style that Triple Flip shoppers are flipping for, combining the ever popular minky dimple fabric with its flat counterpart. Old favourites like the Minky Bubble Hoodie and a new and improved version of the Minky Luxe Jacket are also making a comeback. The softness that is so loved by tweens just like my own 12 year old is not sacrificed, but the style is being elevated. No need to worry about being "so last year".

*(From the Triple Flip Website) “For the entire month of August, Triple Flip stores across Canada will accept much loved, outgrown, ready-to-wear Triple Flip clothing and put the donated items in the hands of women’s shelters and select community charities so that they can reach girls age 6-12 years old in time for the first day of school. In return, donors will receive 10% off their Back to School purchase at Triple Flip, and the feeling that they have been responsible for putting a smile on a girl’s face. And that’s a win-win, in our books.”

Sounds great. Love the idea of donating to the woman's shelters. Do you know if they have it for boys too?

Such cute clothes for tween girls.

Sadly, Kyra, they do not offer products for boys. And yes we love the idea too!
